A little update..

I take my hat of for those who manage to blog on a (nearly) daily basis. Kudos.
Nevertheless, life is still moving, and so am I.

Speaking of moving. Since my last post, I moved in to town, and back home again. I will not go into details the reasons of my moving back, but there were plenty.

I also have got two new additions to my family; the cute, yet constantly gnawing little hamster Kokos

..and my gorgeous, but constantly-eloping babybunny, Tifa. She is actually on the run in this moment of writing. *Looking after her out the window*

This weekend I went to Bergen with my friend Mii<3
http://froekentry.blogspot.com/

She has a boyfriend there ^x^ *giggle*
He was really nice! He dropped me of in the city centre, and they picked me up again the day we went back home. #Adorable.

                                                   Isn't she just gorgeous?? <3

Things didn't turn out the way I planned, but I had a great weekend still. Got to see some of my Folk High School friends again, and did some shopping too.. ^^ #Inevitable.

Back home again, writing for Le stupid Exam. Gah, I really need vacation now! *Gief Gief*

Well. Take care, now. Bunny out! ^x^

To study, or not to study - abroad..

Is there such a thing as "the right moment"?

Everybody's talking about it, but how do you know when it's there? Or that it's getting there at all?

What if it never shows up?

"Carpe Diem" someone once said. I must say, I fully agree. If you're not completely, absolutely positively and 100% sure that you know of it, how will you ever be sure that you're not missing out of "the moment"?

I don't believe in such a theory. I believe that the moment is now. Seize the day. Grasp the moment.
Dare not - win not (or something like that, English phrases has never been one of my talents).

Those who choose to travel around the world are greatly admired, by yours truly of course. To have the nerves, the courage and not to forget the opportunity to do so, whom which I believe includes more of us than we'd like to acknowledge, is really something I'd like to take part of, to some point.

I WANT TO STUDY ABROAD.

I've always heard about it, but never imagined that I once would be able to do the same.. But most hopefully, I am able to, and if everything goes like I want it to, then the story of the exchange students will include me as well!! Who would imagine? I'm sure I couldn't, until now.

It's not that hard.. People with far less worldexperience than myself (24 countries, 4 continents and counting..) have succeeded, so why shouldn't I?

Think of it, if only just for one semester, or perhaps a whole year (!) to spend all your time miles and miles away from your loved ones, all that you know of, in a strange city in a foreign country with NOBODY you know. That's the exciting part of it!! You never know what to expect! I can hardly wait..

To think the unthinkable, to dream the dreams you never dared to dream. That's what giving me the shivers.
And I like it.. I think.

Sleepy heads DO need coffee..

How is it even possible? No one ever told me that oversleeping was contageous! Yesterday, we were short on staff at work, so this one guy volunteered to help out a couple of hours. What happens? He oversleeps for a two hour shift!
I was impressed... so impressed that I felt like doing the exact same thing today... I mean, come on - everybody knows karma's a bitch, but talk about biting me in the ass for wailing my eyes over him being too late (note to self in the future - everybody makes mistakes..)
But despite the fact that I woke up 07.15 (work starts at 07.30) I managed to to be there at 07.50 - and I drive a scooter!! (Yeey me!) Now THAT'S impressing.
Anyways.. Work today was chill. Only one person in my group and we had a 2,5 hours long trip to the city. SWEET!! We went to get frappuchinos at this great place called Camillo Bastrup.
I had one with black and white chocolate syrup.. Yum !!
Home from work - at last! And the best of all, I have tomorrow off! Sleepytime *dance*
I went blueberry-picking. And I almost stepped into an anthill (or what's it called..) so like ten minutes after I almost stepped into it (...) I felt something crawling (..!!) under my sweater. It was one single ant-mo**fu** all alone and lost on my delicate skin. Well. It died. Too bad.
Had a piece of chocolatecake, cleansed the blueberries and drove to my friend Mii <3
She made pancakes that we ate with my fresh blueberries. De-lish!!
We watched a whole lot of cute japanese and korean dances and songs on YouTube, whom we love (THANK YOU!)
before we saw Despicable Me ! Brilliant movie - higly recommended!!
And the cutest thing of all - my friend Maria gave me a disc she had put together with a couple of movies :D isn't she the best??
Love you Mii <3

Never again..!!

To begin with, today was a joyous day.. I was finally going to get my new ride (heheh..)  in Lyngdal.. I went to get the sign from the "biltilsyn" (dont know the English word for i xD). My dad gave me a lift out there, but he couldnt wait so he gave me his mastercard. I waited half an hour to find out that "they didn't accept mastercard.. sorry". Bitches.
Look at it! (Well.. its the same model, but a picture of it is to be found lower down on the page)

So I went in today to get the sign, with cash. And what do I hear?? "Sorry, we don't take cash.."
WHAT THE H***!?
Well. It worked out, so one of the workers there used her own card and I gave her my cash. T`HANKS!:)

I met up with some of my dads' coworkers who gave me a lift for the 70 km to Lyngdal. It started raining like crazy. We couldn't find the centre where they repaired the bike, so I got of and startet walking around.. I couldn't find anything, so I tried hitch-hiking, looking like a drowned cat, but nobody stopped.. Where is the love, people??
Plz let me ride with yoouuuu.. No, okey.. Thanks mate. Not.

So I waited for the bus to Farsund, still soaking wet and freezing cold. I got on, met a couple of men who helped me, and after 3 hours on the road and foot, I found it!

Lyngdal is a pretty place, but impossible to find anything there!!

I should have checked the weather prognosis in advance.. I didn't have raintrousers on, so a man in there started dressing me up with garbage sacks, you know, the big black ones.. Woho! (should have taken a picture of it though..)

I got the bike out, stripped for the coats so it looked a bit shabby, but I was on the road. I think I got about 500 meters down the road before it died. NO GAS. Why thank you for telling. And what's up with the malfunctioning gas light? Bugger..

Felt like a bad thriller movie..
So I walked back to the centre, dripping, and asked for help. I think they felt pretty bad for me. I had to walk the bike for to park it a safe place, so the garbage sacks fell of my legs and I was as disposed for water again as to begin with.. We filled the tank and got a start on it again and I was finally on my way home.

But wait a minute.. How on earth am I going to find my way home? The navigation and signs were horrible, I couldn't find my way anywhere!! So I walked in to a grocery store and asked for directions. Well, fair enough..

Nice..

I had to stop to fill at a gas station in Mandal. One could imagine how it must have looked, when I came trembling in, freezing, and the lady behind the counter felt so sorry for me that she gave me free hot chocolate and oil for the bike. Thanks a lot, really appreciated it!!

And I finally got home.. The first thing I did after parking the bike was to fill the hot tub with steaming water and make some food (hadn't eaten in 8,5 hours..)

Finally.... <3

The Sweet Revenge..

Me and my two friends, Tone Rebekka and Ina went to the cinema to see the movie "Monsters"
I have to say I'm really disappointed over this movie.. The intro was way too long, and one could never grasp the plot of the movie. Not to mention the way it ended.. I nearly felt sorry for my father who gave me the money for to see the movie at all. Well. I had a good time, don't misunderstand me, but the movie was horrible.

The movie we really wanted to see was "Hop"! <3

Looooove it <3 See how cute he is??

()...()
  (^x^)o

And the worst part of all..!! They turned on the light before the movie was over!! :@

Soooo.... We were not pleased, so we adopted some posters who lied all alone in a corner somewhere. They felt home right away with us, and we all lived happily ever after!!

Moahahaha ^^

Miss sick and her cup of tea

*Coughs* Well.. I guess I should have shut my mouth when I bragged about never getting ill to my sick little brother. "I take my vitamins every day, I do!" Hah.. What goes around, comes around.

For a time now, me and my friend Maria have been talking about a couple of movies we've never seen. Movies of such that people talk about for a lifetime, ex Schindlers List (no I haven't seen it) and Star Wars (not on my to do list, but no I haven't seen those either), so we figured out that we'd see some movies since both of us became ill at the same time! Woho! *coughs*

                                   My Saturday Breakfast

How to make the "5-minutes chocolate cake"

Ingredients:
4 spoons flour
4 spoons sugar
2 spoons cocoa powder
1 egg
3 spoons milk
3 spoons neutral oil (baking oil, not olive)
1 spoon vanilla essence

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa powder in a big cup (min. 3 dl) Add the egg, milk, and the vanilla and oil and stir until you get a smooth texture.
Put the cup in the microwave for 2-3 min with max power (my experience is that 3 min is a little too long and it gets just a little dry, but try 2, 2.5 min, it varies from machine to machine)

It it while it's warm <3 Yum!

Almost homebaked scones. Delicious!

So me and Maria tried to light a fire to warm up the guesthouse. All of a sudden the entire living room was filled with smoke, and the only way to get it out was (of course, duuh) to open all windows and doors. It was freezing outside! A thick fog had been hoovering over the entire south of Norway all day so it was cold and humid. So we decided to let the fire be, and heat up with the electric oven. We made vegetables and dip (yum) with carrots and other deliciousness, and we drank Herbalife's peach tea with Aloe vera juice. Love it.

We saw the new Disney film, "Tangled". It was hilarious! And so cute.. Aww.. And the part where Rapunzels dad misses his daughter, seriously, that look on his face made me cry inside. My tummy hurt..
Amazing movie.

I looooove romantic movies. <3

Cliché? Me? Never  (\(^x^)/)
